LHL homes is honored to support our community

LHL believes in and practices strong community support. LHL has been integrally involved in supporting Wild Canyon Games, an annual 3-day event benefiting local children’s charities. Our partners have served on the boards of Ronald McDonald House Charities, Candlelighters for Children, and Habitat for Humanity.

Candlelighters for Children with Cancer

Dick Hartung has been supporting Candlelighters since 1995. Candlelighters provides local support for children and families affected by childhood cancer. In 2002, Dick Hartung founded Ride for A Child, a one week cycling fundraiser for Candlelighters. Since it’s inception in Ride for A Child has netted over 1.7 million dollars in support of Candlelighter program and services.

Habitat for Humanity

In 2006 and 2008, LHL participated in Habitat’s Blitz Build, each time building a home in one week and delivering the keys to a deserving family. Through the donated labor and materials of LHL and their team of tradesmen and suppliers, these homes were delivered at virtually no cost to Habitat.
